Best Places for a Stroll

Five Brickell strolls: The Underline, a native hammock, Brickell Key, the Miami River edge, and Brickell City Centre.

How we keep this useful

Picked and checked by hand; updated when hours, venues, menus, or source pages change.

1. The Underline

The Underline is the defining Brickell walk, a 10-mile linear park running beneath the Metrorail with promenades and art along the way. Go when you want a real stretch of legs that connects rather than loops.

2. Simpson Park Hammock

Simpson Park Hammock is the quiet-nature stroll, a preserved patch of tropical hardwood hammock in the middle of the city. Use it when you want shade and birdsong a few steps off the Brickell grid, and check the city page for current limited hours before going.

3. Brickell Key Baywalk

The Brickell Key Baywalk is the waterfront-loop stroll, the only continuous island Baywalk in Miami across forty-four acres of green space. Go when you want water views the whole way around on a flat, easy path.

5. Brickell City Centre

Brickell City Centre is the indoor-walk option, with open-air-meets-covered shops and dining to wander. Use it when heat or rain makes a climate-controlled stroll the smarter call.
